Petits drames, is inspired by little situations that become little dramas, not especific ones, but with certain expression. It includes seven little movements, each of them representing an emotionl state related to these episodes. The last one is a collage of the other six, as a resurrection. The electronic part provides sounds which blend perfectly with the toy piano sounds, since most of them come from it, being procesed according to the composition needs. Petits drames (Little dramas) has been composed originally for the toy piano French brand Michelsonne, of a one octave register.

Toy piano part

The piece is writen for one performer, and was originally composed for a one octave register Michelsonne toy piano. But it can be played with other toy pianos that properly mix both acustic and electronic parts. The piano sounds one octave higher than is notated, and there is no extended tecniques.

Electronic part

To achieve the electronic part, a video/score has been designed. The score is displayed on a Laptop or Tablet, and the audio output of the video, should be sent to the soundboard, together with the connected microphone of the toy piano which amplifies this sound. Both must be balanced.
